Anuradha and Prisca discuss the dissertation paper called 'IoT Through Design - An Inquiry into Being-at-home' by Anuradha Reddy published in 2020 by University of Malmo. Anuradha also talks about her view on technology and design and how this will evolve after the period of lockdowns due to Covid-19 pandemic. 

 

Anuradha Reddy is a post-doctoral fellow in the field of Interaction Design at Malmö University, Sweden. Her research aims to understand if design research, conducted as a part of maker/hacker communities, can contribute to a creative critique of the data society. Through critical making, craftivism, and reappropriations of industrial tech, she explores how collaborative technologies can advance civic data literacy and user empowerment. Anuradha has a PhD in Interaction and a background in Electronics Engineering and New Media Design.

La sua ricerca mira a capire se la ricerca di design, condotta come parte di comunità maker/hacker, può contribuire a una critica creativa della società dei dati. Attraverso il critical making, l’artigiano e la riappropriazione della tecnologia industriale, esplora come le tecnologie collaborative possano far progredire l'alfabetizzazione civica sui dati e l'empowerment degli utenti. Anuradha ha un dottorato in Interazione e un background in ingegneria elettronica e New Media Design.
