A conversation with Christopher K. Travis

Christopher shares his experiences and observations as constructor, architect, life coach, writer and community member and what has brought him to give life to ‘The True Home Workshop’. His scientific method is based on client interviews and exercises that drive the designer to tailor homes which match the family's characters, tastes, lifestyle, values, and financial priorities.

Christopher K. Travis is a writer, publisher, theorist and the managing partner and lead residential designer of Sentient Architecture LLC, an architecture firm, and Truehome Design. Build located in Pine, Colorado and Evergreen, Colorado. Travis has served as a consultant and lead designer for residential and historic projects in Texas and Colorado since 1975. He is best known for using psychological and therapeutic methods to inform the design of homes and other buildings, a process that has been referred to as "emotional architecture." Travis' work was profiled in Samuel D. Gosling's book Snoop: What Your Stuff Says About You.
